Accessibility at RestNudge

Last reviewed:

RestNudge aims to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at the AA level, so the site is readable and usable for as many people as possible — including older adults and people using assistive technology.

About the “WCAG 2.2 AA” badge

The badge in our footer is an internal accessibility-alignment statement — it reflects the standards we design and build toward. It is not a third-party certification, audit result, or guarantee of conformance, and we do not claim any external accreditation.

What we do

We work to maintain accessibility through practices such as:

  • Semantic HTML with clear landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer).
  • A visible skip link and full keyboard support with visible focus styles.
  • Strong text and non-text contrast in both light and dark themes.
  • Large, readable type and a responsive, mobile-first layout that works at high zoom.
  • Respecting reduced-motion preferences where motion is used.
  • Consistent link labels and descriptive, accessible controls and form fields.
  • A mix of automated checks and manual review as the site changes.

Known limits

Accessibility is ongoing work, and no site is perfect. Some content or future features may not yet fully meet every criterion. We treat reported issues as a priority and update the site as needed.

Report an accessibility issue

If something is hard to use or read, please tell us — your feedback helps. See Contact to get in touch. It helps to include the page, your device or browser, and what you experienced.
